I’m a girl, and new to the area, so needless to say, I was nervous when my check engine light went off and I realized I’d have to find a good mechanic. Zych’s Certified Auto Service put my mind at ease. With the particular repair I needed, they had the chance to easily double my repair costs by telling me additional components needed replacement. I even thought these additional repairs would be needed before going in, but after testing the vehicle, I was given an honest assessment. These guys are honest, honest, honest!

I have done business with this garage for over 10 years. The owner has seen me through auto’s on their way out to doing the routine maintence on my new cars. They are supurb. This kind of service is extremely hard to find in this day and time. They have always done everything necessary and nothing to upsell me on services I don’t need just to increase the bottom line on the job being preformed. I have never found a good, knowledgable, honest garage in my life until now. I also don’t make it a habit of writing reviews because the service received from most co’s is marginal at best. This co. is such a super find I felt it only fitting to spread the word. With 5 stars being the best rating allowed, I would rate them a 10 star if I could

Are you like me and drive a 17 year old vehicle that from time to time needs a little TLC in the form of brakes, A/C service, suspension work and tires?  It’s a tricky balance to make sure that you aren’t dropping buckets of cash into a black hole vs. no car payments/”i don’t care if you could throw a small cow through the rust hole in my door…IT’S PAID FOR!

If you can’t bring yourself to get back into writing a check every month to drive the latest and greatest but don’t have a mechanic/service center you can trust stop in at Zych’s…they will treat you right!

My first trip was by recommendation of a friend and I’ve never looked back.  When service is complete on your vehicle you will be introduced to the parts that failed you, without having to ask or demand, a line by line assessment of the work performed and suggestions for the future.

All of this with a friendly, professional smile and a price tag that won’t leave you feeling icky, dirty, and more broke than the problem/parts they replaced!  I have never left wondering whether the job was done right and for a fair price….what more could you ask for?

First things first: my story is probably seven or eight years old (and pre-Yelp). However, I couldn’t justify not reviewing this place even now because I was very happy with the service I got.

I had a ’93 Pontiac Bonneville with a broken AC system. I took the car to three other repair shops. After each garage reassured me the problem had been fixed, the AC began blowing hot air five minutes off their lots. I even caught one garage employee trying to take my car home for the night when I went to go pick it up.

Finally, a friend recommended Zych’s Auto to me, so I gave them a call. I talked to an older gentlemen on the phone and told him about my tricky AC problem.

“I’ve been fixing AC systems for 28 years. I’ll get yours working again,” he huffed, very matter-of-factly. Admittedly, I was skeptical.

A day later, I got my car back. My experience-supported pessimism was finally quashed by Zych’s Auto. After my visit, I drove the car day-in, day-out with fully functioning AC. As a Midwesterner temporarily making Florida his home, I was ecstatic that I no longer had to endure 95° temperatures and 100% humidity whenever I got into my leather-clad sedan.

A lot of garages will just do the bare minimum to get you in and out without checking their work. Zych’s bucks that trend. It’s truly a diamond in the rough.

It may not look like much from the road but this auto service place is great. The owner was very knowledgeable and very helpful. He fixed the break on my old truck and did it for a great price too.

Need my a/c fixed and had heard through a friend to go here. I stopped in, was helped quickly, given a fair estiamte and the car was returned to me in a reasonable amount of time.
